Screensaver & relaxation

The slowest, the least reliable, the least logical and the least durable component of a computer system is a human being. Some time ago, however, there were components even less durable. The monitor was one of such components. Screensavers, as a class of programs intended to save the screen from burning out, have gone into history. These days, there is no need to save the screen of computer monitor as it is one of the most enduring parts other components wear off or become obsolete much faster. However, the term screensaver is still there. Must be a speaking habit, I guess.

With invention of Exterpassive video, screensavers may turn into something much more promising than just entertainment programs. From now on screensavers can be used to recreate our minds, overloaded with everyday routine thinking and decision making. Thus, screensaver that used to be a technical requirement and then turned into mere entertainment may serve us at something important now!

Have you noticed that watching fire burn or water flow is rather pleasant and relaxing? Well, now you can do it to increase efficiency of your work. And what is even nicer, you can choose a new image each day.

  1. It is a commonly known fact that one can glaze at fire, water and a person doing his job endlessly. On your opinion, what else can make your glance freeze for a long time?

  3. What I used to love when I lived in Alaska was to climb to the top of some of the sheer cliffs and watch the Bald Eagles flying. So from an Eagles veiwpoint vantage flying above over and around all over the place randomly free would keep me transfixed for hours. Another view was when I spent some time in Hawaii sitting on the beach watching the huge waves and seagulls for hours as the sunset in the back ground. And last but not least was watching the Aurora Borialis Lights dancing across the sky at night.
