That is a flower from Widow’s Tears (Comelina “Something”). The liquid in the pocket below the flower was used by American Indians as an eyewash.

I recognize this as an “Asiatic Dayflower” seen on many a nature walk. Such a nice little surprise from what seems to be a blade of grass. Great shot!
