Author:
The top of a very old and tall saguaro cactus at the Desert Foothills Gardens, a landscaping company and nursery in Cave Creek, AZ. This is a zoom shot from about 60 feet away, the top of the cactus. I believe it is some sort of rare mutation, and when I find more information on this online, will be back to add it to this description with links. So far, I’ve found that this type of mutation is unexplained, and two terms that may help in search are: cristata and Mostruosa.
