IT’S CALLED THE GULMOHOR TREE FLOWER AND VERY COMMONLY FOUND IN INDIA

In Thailand we called “Hang Nok Yoong”. The meaning of it’s name is “The Tail of Peacock Bird”

Its called flame of the forest. When in full bloom the whole tree is covered in different hues of the flame… red orange yellow and hence the name.

I don’t think this is a gulmohar tree (this would be delonix regia).
The botanic name of the pictured flower is “caesalpinia pulcherrima” (pea plants family “Fabaceae”)

This is a Gulmohar Tree Flower, very common in india especially here in kolkata, in bengali we call it krishnachura.Blooms profusely in summer, has flowers of 2 colors, red and yellow, and 2 tree types, one dwarf variety and the other large variety. The picture above is of the dwarf red variety. Very hardy and fantastic plants.

In Vietnam, we called “Hoa Diep”, it means butterfly, it bloom in summer.

In Indonesia, we called “FLAMBOYAN” flower

I know this flower as the pride of barbados. There is a very similar type of flora called the flamboyant, but that is a tree. This flower, if I am not mistaken, seems to be from a bush.

In Bangladesh it is called KrishnaChura. There are 2 versions, one tree has red flowers and another tree has orange flowers. The orange one is called RadhaChura. The names Radha and Krishna are from the ancient Hindu religion. The god of arts - Krishna, always plays a flute and Radha his consort.

That flower is the National Flower of Barbados is called the Pride of Barbados (also know as Dwarf Poinciana or Flower Fence)

Thoses tress are all over Barbados in the caribbean… Go to google and type in “pride of barbados flower”. You will find out all you need to know!

It is not gulmohar..it is called Rajamalli in kerala

I have grown this plant in southern California. It is not the tree known as Flamboyan or Royal Poinciana or Gulmohar, which is seen all over tropical climes, but a dwarf relative, a bush that can be pruned into a small tree. Answer #5 above is correct, it is Caesalpinia pulcherrima, also called Mexican Bird of Paradise, also Dwarf Poinciana, and in Barbados it is called Pride of Barbados, or Flower Fence because its many thorns make it serve as a good fence.

In Suriname (South America), we call it the krerekrere. Probably brought by ancestors of the indian people from india.

I dunno I asked my mom what is it she said to me it was a fire tree then I pictured it(thinks on posting it)

i was just wondering if any one new how big this ree is gonna grow so i plant it in the right spot and if it needs shade or sun or what

In El Salvador is called -fire flame- although is not a scientific name. however, the tree loses all its leaves, and is left full of flowers only. some times the tree can be small or big.
