This was my first experience with winter camping. I was expecting temperatures in the thirties and thought that was bad. I never would have gone if I had realized it would go down in to the the teens. Everything worked out well though. Both mornings I woke up toasty warm and not covered in ice as I would have expected. The only chilly part was getting to sleep. Pulling the covers over my head made it difficult to breathe but leaving an air hole let the cold in. I was really wishing I had a snorkel.
